We've recently been tagged on several memes, and now it's time to tackle them and post them.
Scott Carson of An Examined Life started this one: Who are the five Catholic (or Christian) bloggers whom you would most like to meet in person, but have not (yet)?
Darwin probably has his own list, but here's mine, in no particular order.
1. Julie D.
2. C and DMinor
3. Dorian
4. Matthew Lickona
5. The set of Ohio bloggers: Fr. Fox, Rich Leonardi, Jay Anderson, Scott Carson
That last may be cheating, but as we plan to take a trip to Ohio in May and travel around the state a bit, perhaps we'll be fortunate enough to put these fine gentlemen on the list of Catholic bloggers we've met:
1. Jen
All of the above may consider themselves tagged, if they so desire.
UPDATE from Darwin:
Just tossing a few more in from my perspective (though not in disagreement with my wife's picks:
Go shooting with Fidei.
Sit around girl watching with Rick.
Drink a beer with Tex.
Play a game of Go with Slick.
Talk with Scott Carson and (straying outside the Catholic fold) Razib (though not necessarily at the same time -- and perhaps it would work better to include Razib in the girl watching).

Well, there's a precedent for such meetings.
"Who are the five Catholic (or Christian) bloggers whom you would most like to meet in person, but have not (yet)?"
I appreciate your including me in your list. But I'm not about to touch that one by naming a top 5.
Instead, I'll just say that I'd most like to meet everyone on my blogroll other than Rich Leonardi, Joanna Bogle, Fr. Dwight Longenecker, Boethius, and Fr. David Nuss (all of whom I've already met* - but which isn't to say that I wouldn't want to see them all again).
Was that politically correct enough?
* I'm not sure, but I think I spoke with Fr. Tim Finigan during my pilgrimage to Walsingham in 2005. Just in case that wasn't him, I'll leave him in the list of the bloggers I'd still most like to meet.
Good heavens, what a marvelous compliment. Youse guys are on my list as well. And then, to get a mention for the little book as well - I'm humbled and grateful.
Thanks D...heck, swing by Michigan and I could treat you to all of those activities except perhaps Go...of course, I'd bet Axis and Allies would suffice.
;)
Hey, I want in on the girl watching, too.
Your place or mine?
Wait, you're coming to Ohio?!? Well...I know I'm a nobody, but if you're near our woods - or our old farmhouse - or our small town near the center of the state - well...
Jen turned me on to reading your blog, and I'm coming out of lurkdom just to leave this inconsequential comment. :) Anyway, hope you like Ohio, and if you're in the central part of the state and not adverse to meeting a wacko Buckeye blogger in your free time (yes, that's sarcasm, and no, I'm not expecting a "yes" there!)
