Not to mention I have strong respect for the current Bishop of Rome(he's a superb theologian).

So far, it's been rather interesting. And I've realized a long time ago that no church is perfect(we are humans after all) but Rome, at least here in the States is about the best around.Mister Wolfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17690398274447920110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13522238.post-82394914931269292472009-09-04T22:57:07.899-04:002009-09-04T22:57:07.899-04:00I don't know if you ever follow Stacey, from &...I don't know if you ever follow Stacey, from "Almost There" (http://soimarriedacatholic.wordpress.com), but she's got a great story in her steps back to Rome. She just recently signed up for RCIA.

What parish do you do this through, if you don't mind me asking?christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04914469781753936152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13522238.post-66253179537970891692009-09-04T10:14:58.568-04:002009-09-04T10:14:58.568-04:00It's funny -- it was almost assumed that I was...It's funny -- it was almost assumed that I was in RCIA because I wanted to get married, or just had never been confirmed. Moreso among the congregation, and non-Catholic friends, but even among the teachers. For me it was an eight-year journey from hardcode fundamentalist/evangelical to joining the Church.Danimalnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13522238.post-83785873720768517622009-09-04T00:56:30.520-04:002009-09-04T00:56:30.520-04:00Nothing clarifies the mind like getting married in...Nothing clarifies the mind like getting married in the morning. Or something like that. That was certainly true in my conversion experience.j. christianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09011826592466311258noreply@blogger.com
