OTOH, your guardian angels are top notch!<br /><br />2. You're doing a great job keeping this scene from being sleazy or bathetically indulgent. It's serious stuff, not pleasant for the characters; but also not unpleasant or repulsive for the reader.<br /><br />3. When he was in Poland, he didn't see "any sights", not "any sites".
