Moving to Ohio, we were sad to leave behind a lot of great friends we enjoyed spending time with them, among them some blogging friends who had become real life friends. Imagine our pleasure when some of the first people we met in our new neighborhood turn out to also be Catholic homeschoolers who keep a blog. Meet Roma Locuta Est, written by Jake Tawney. Needless to say, we're excited to find ourselves just around the corner from another family with similar interests -- and also with five kids under nine.
Note especially some of Jake's recent posts on the new translation of the mass which will be going into use this Advent.

What a lovely discovery!
I know this is an old post, but I thought I'd throw the question on here....Is there a good homeschool community over there in Columbus??? We recently relocated to Springfield for my husband's work and we (Catholic homeschool alumni that we are) have been at a loss finding connections of this sort so far. We've thought of moving closer to Columbus if there is a good Catholic homeschool community there.
Liz, there is a large and strong Catholic group in Columbus, though we live a bit too far north to benefit that much from its multitude of activities. If you drop us an email at darwincatholic@gmail.com, I can give you some contact information for people who are more in the know than I am.
