Enter Diana Darwin



Diana Mary arrived yesterday, weighing in at 7lb, 7oz and measuring 20.5 inches long. Hobbies include: eating, peeing, pooping and sleeping.

Big brother is not sure yet if she is as much fun as a lightsaber.

Mommy and baby are doing well.

    Oddly, we hadn't actually thought about the Virgin Goddess/Virgin Mother symmetry when we picked the name. I think it first occured to me on the day of the birth. But it works nicely...

    Wow! I just woke up and thought to check y'all's blog one last time before we're out of electronic contact with civilization, and there She is! What a cutie.

    My Sophia Mary immediately said, "Interesting juxtaposition of names." It hadn't even occurred to me.

    I want to come have a holy hour of adoration ASAP. I love me some fresh baby!
