For a final project in one of my speech classes this semester (I am actually a communications major, minor in psychology) I have to give a persuasive speech. I think I might do it on Embryonic Stem Cell Research (convincing them that it is unnecessary, as well as immoral). I was looking through your previous posts (on blogspot), but wasn't able to find anything. If you have some info that you could share with me, or if you know of any good sources that I should check out, I would be very grateful.I recommended the blog Mary meets Dolly, but if any of you have suggestions, feel free to post them.

I've got a few links here and here.
Shouldn't this person use scholarly articles? You know, since it's at the academic level and everything... Otherwise, why not use wikipedia and Google?
I suggest Do No Harm's site:
http://www.stemcellresearch.org/
or the USCCB's site: http://www.usccb.org/
Clicking on "Life Issues" gets you a drop-down menu of issues. ESCR articles are usually under "Cloning"
Thanks everyone!
StemCellResearch.org -- also, Michael Fumento has written extensively on the benefits and research into adult stem cells.

take that link, somwhere on that page is a wonderful article on the subject by Bishop Morlino of Madison. When friends have come to me needing a Cathlic perspective on stem-cell research, for projects or whatever, i refer them to that article.
