Now and at the hour of death...

Between 7:15 and 7:30 EST (essentially, right now) Grandpa will be taken off life support. He's not expected to live much longer after the tubes are removed -- a week is an extremely generous estimate, but less than a day is much more probable, given his physical condition.

Please keep him in your prayers tonight.

I left the house at 7:15 to take Michael to youth group and the boys and I said a Divine Mercy Chaplet for him in the car. May our dear Lord and His Blessed Mother comfort your grandmother and all of your family. May They be with him at the hour of his death.. I always imagine what a peaceful death St. Joseph must have had, having both of them with him...

Our Lady of Guadalupe, receive him under your mantle.

May the saints and angels be with your grandfather at this time and bless his journey to Heaven. And may they bring comfort to you and your family.
