People who have given us their complete confidence believe that they have a right to ours. The inference is false, a gift confers no rights.
I know this has already been around the block a few times, but I still get a kick out of the Nietzsche Family Circus, a generator that matches up random Nietzsche quotations with random Family Circus cartoons. Keep hitting refresh to up the snerk factor.
The Family Circus has never made so much sense.
H/T to Patrick, who finds all the cool stuff.

I think that family circus girl looks like noogs.
Those are pretty good-D posted one that tickled him exceedingly a couple of weeks ago: Jeffy, buck naked, standing in a puddle of water in front of Mom in the bathroom, apparently trying to explain himself. The caption: "He who is punished is never he who performed the deed. He is always the scapegoat."
Thanks for your comment on my last post. I answered there, but add here--don't assume that was a typical day. I'd hate to give the impression that I'm one of those superorganized people who does it all, perfectly. Martha Stewart don't live at my house!
Reading those quotes will drive me to drink...
CMinor, I knew I'd seen this somewhere else, but I couldn't remember where. I liked that one exceedingly -- probably something young Darwin would have said.
Bill -- do you think so? I don't see it. But you haven't seen her for a while.
Remember talking about your call from Laura Bush? Well, today President Bush himself called me...
hehe...
A blessed day to you...
