Or maybe I'm getting that one confused with Strangers On A Train (not to be confused with Snakes On A Plane or Seals on a Scooter or ...)
Double Indemnity: Barbara Stanwyck, Fred MacMurray. Bombshell convinces insurance salesman to help her off her husband so they can split the policy on him. Lots of noir angst as the plot unravels.
I, for one, have never seen Strangers on a Train. Perhaps you watched that with your other wife, hm?
"Fellowship of the Ring" is on the list at #50.

I'm showing #50 as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, but then the Wikipedia list from the link is from 1998.
