Rejoice with me, o my friends!

Out with the old...

In with the new!

It's kind of suede-y, hence the vacuum marks, but oh so cool! Now you're all invited to come over, now that I have somewhere suitable to seat people.

I do rejoice. I'm dreading moving into our new house because all our furniture is grad student crap. In fact, I looked at the house four times before we made an offer, because it was so obviously too nice for us and our stuff.

Love the red wall, too.

Very nice. Amazing how a new couch can lift the whole room. Not to mention sagging spirits.

That looks pretty comfy. Too bad the first thing that goes through my mind is "Oh, the kids are gonna spill juice and milk on it and get their dirty little bare feet on it and their cheese-covered fingers are going to smear it and ........."

By the way, did Cristina forward you the link she found regarding your mystery stone in Cologne? It's on my post.

Well! It just so happens that the Opinionated Household is on summer vacation (runs Thanksgiving week through New Years), and will gladly take the open-ended invitation quite on its face, perhaps even next week. And we'll see the Darwinettes (plus Boy Jack) Sunday.

Aaaaaaagh, must go clean!
