Catholicism and Homosexuality

Eric Brown, one of my fellow writers at The American Catholic, has a well thought-out and deeply moving article up about the experience of being a faithful Catholic of homosexual orientation.

That was a hard article to read, I think because I feel such a visceral revulsion to the popularized image of the "gay" lifestyle.

He did not address whether orientation can be changed. I remarked on that and hope he responds.

I'm curious - where do you think that revulsion comes from? I don't feel it at all, so it makes me wonder.

Cliff -- homosexuality can be changed. Thousands of men are doing it. You don't hear any press reports on it though. It's very underground.
