Four Years Ago Today...

...I said to Darwin, "That was the worst thing I've ever done! I'm never doing that again! Why didn't anyone tell me how much it hurt?"

The pain fades, the girl we have with us still. Happy birthday, Eleanor, and enjoy that new red trike!

My oldest just turned 4 last month. They grow up too fast.

After going the "natural" route with the first 2 pregnancies, Sarah opted for an epidural for the latest pregnancy. She has described this most recent birthing experience as "enjoyable".

I have to say that this time was a lot easier on dad, as well.

Happy birthday, Eleanor! I bet she'll have a lot of fun on that tricycle. Congratulations on making it through the first four years of parenthood. :-)

Happy birthday, Eleanor! Did you know "Jofess" (Joseph) turns 3 on Friday? Whoa!

Hey, Tex. We were just talking about that this morning. If you all were out here we could throw a big joint birthday party!

Oh, well...

Happy Birthday Eleanor!
I always loved when my kids were 4 years old...starting to be a bit independent, but still so cute...
Hope all of you enjoy her special day! God bless!!

Mrs. Darwin,

That indeed does sound lovely. Wish we could be there. Darwin and I could start a batch of beer for old times sake. And of course, drink some quality craft brew as well.

But, such is life... it often takes you across the country so you can feed your family. :-)

Give Eleanor and Julia a good tickling for me!

Mrs. Darwin,

I almost forgot! We would also have to watch Little Joe with repeated viewings of Belly Button by Boyz in the Sink.

Happy Birthday, little miss Eleanor. Be sure to ring that bell non-stop. It will make mommy and daddy so happy they included it.

:)

Happy Birthday Eleanor. My little Sarah (1) has her birthday on May 10th too! To see how cute she is, see the Saint Patrick's Day entries at Amateur Catholic.

I remember seeing the picture of her there and thinking how sweet she looked.

Aren't little girls great?
